You see, the more expensive your room type is, the higher your payment bracket in the hospital will be. So, you see, it's not just the room instead that's more expensive...it's everything. At least that's the case here in the Philippines.
So, if you're undergoing a surgery or a procedure that could be done as an outpatient, do so, unless you live very far from that hospital. If you have to be admitted, get the cheapest ward or room that you will feel comfortable in. Suites are only for people who have the deep pockets to afford it.
