Walk!
With the high fuel prices nowadays, it may be better to go back to walking, especially if the place you're going to is just a few blocks away. Not only will this save fuel, you'll get some much needed exercise at the same time. Also, no more hassle of looking for a parking space, no more dealing with (potential) traffic jams...AND you contribute less gas emission, thus less air pollution.
