If you have kids, you may want to consider taking Vegas vacations. While there are still the requisite adult entertainment - gambling, topless girlie shows, quickie weddings (does that even qualify as entertainment? LOL), there are also a whole lot of activities for the kids and the rest of the family. Walk around Las Vegas at night and you get free shows like the volcano at the Mirage, the water show at the Bellagio, the pirate show at Treasure Island. Even walking around the famed hotels is an experience in itself.
There are also shows that are family oriented and are suitable for both kids and adults. Hotels also tend to be reasonably priced. Next time I go to USA (hopefully with my family), this will be part of our itinerary.
