I have a sudden insight now that we went through Ondoy and its destructive floods...When you down to your last few thousands of pesos, you have to prioritize what is important. Especially now in times of calamity. However tempting the deals to miami are, when there's a storm, it is, unfortunately, one of the things that I won't think about first. I'd think about having enough food and drinking water, clothing and somewhere to stay. The basics. Then my children's education and our health fund.
We haven't been able to work at all the past few days, what with the typhoon, the recovery operations at hubby's house, and the fact that our little boy is sick. Bills keep coming. No money coming in but lots going out. Sigh.
