After the great flood that was Ondoy, I realized how vulnerable data is, whether in paper form or even in hard drives. My in-laws' desktop computer got submerged in floodwaters. We're not sure yet if we could still use it, but there's still a chance. But what if we can't anymore?
I'm seriously thinking that an online backup may be a good way to store data elsewhere other than your computer. After all, computers may get damaged by fire, or in the recent weeks, flood. Laptops may be stolen. They may ba replaced, but valuable data may be unrecoverable if we don't have a backup.
