Another Reason To Stay Slim

Much has been said about the health risks one takes if one is overweight, even obese. But one practical issue that is sometimes overlooked is that overweight people tend to have more issues with osteoarthritis and joint pains. That's because your weight bearing joints like the knees and hips have to carry a heavier load, so to speak, and so undergoes more wear and tear than the usual, non-overweight individual.

So if you want to free yourself from the burdens of osteoarthritis (or at least lessen the chances), do try not be obese. You're doing yourself a big favor -- saving not only your joints, but also your heart and the rest of your body.

Staying slim really is a good idea! It might be a hard thing to do for most people, though.
