My brother-in-law was telling me that there's some buzz going around that the old style analog TVs would be phased out in a few years' time. I do not know how true it is. But if that is the case, it may not be a good idea to buy the analog TVs nowadays, even if they are cheaper.

Me, I'm planning to buy a new TV only if the ones I have break down. I have no use for a new TV at the moment. But if I do, I will buy a slim LCD TV which will not only save me space but will also be usable for more years, if what my BIL says is true.

WAIT... on the new line of TV's comming out later this year, July 10. Their technology is much better and they are dumping all the old stock.
Thanks, Roger / Florida / USA.
