Here in the Philippines, it's election day. We have the responsibility to vote for our President, our Vice President, 12 (of the 24 senators), the governor of our province, the mayor of our city/municipality and the councilors and congressman for our district.
I just did my civic duty and voted for my choice for the next Philippine president, as other government officials who will "wear the breeches", so to speak, and have the responsibility to lead us for the next 6 years.
Now's the time to hope and pray that whoever wins will institute changes and REALLY work for the people.

You know, sometimes when we vote we don't see the changes immediately, but you will eventually. Most people complain about things but don't vote at all so I don't see why they complain when they don't go out and participate. I vote every year and I think it's a great thing to do for your country.
And I still question, Will Noynoy live up to protect and preserve the name and hope his parents left the Filipinos?
