I've noticed that many teenagers' skins are now a lot better than my skin was when I was in my twenties (yes, I got my acne late, probably a result of medical school related stress). I guess that's because there are more effective acne products nowadays, many of which are available readily, unlike during my time when the only way you can find a good way to get rid of pimples was to go to the dermatologist for a prescription. I guess I was also quite un-vain about my appearance AND I was kinda hoping that things will get better over time -- which they actually did, although they did leave marks and scars. That is probably one of my greatest regrets -- that I didn't take better care of my skin.
Lesson learned: If there's a problem, try to get rid of them as soon as you can. Consequences may extend long term. I guess that extends to life in general, and not just to acne.
