Do we need it?

While science and medicine generally come up with better things to improve our lives and life expectancy, sometimes we do need to rethink if we really need certain things.

For example, while breast augmentation procedures are now very common and generally safe, I would not really want to go under the knife for that. While I'm sure the procedure would make me more attractive under the laws of men, I do not think I need it. Same goes for supplements. People are now talking about the wonderful anti-aging effect and performance enhancement functions of human growth hormone supplements. I used to think that these were used only for children with problems with their height, and only as a rather extreme measure. But apparently they found other uses for it. Would their benefits be acceptable for you? You are the sole judge of what is best for you.
