Snack substitutions

Whenever I'm out and I need a little snack, I usually pick up a popular juice drink containing propionyl l carnitine -- mainly to ease my guilt about eating junk food specifically the chips that I am so fond of.  I guess it's a better than softdrinks which contain much more sugar and no other nutrients.  At least my juice contains some amount of vitamins, less sugar, and an ingredient which is supposed to help speed up metabolism.

Other substitutions which may be possible is exchanging peanuts for my chips. Peanuts contain more nutrients than chips.

These would ensure that my every bite counts and would not just be empty calories to add to my weight and girth.
